Bangkok: The Platinum Fashion Mall Food Centre

16 May 2008

We came back to the food court that we missed on the first day, on the last day of our trip. The Platinum Fashion Mall is a shopping haven especially for the girls, while for us boys we walked around pretty much aimlessly and helping ourselves to more donuts, waffles, and yes Thai iced tea.

Here, they use cards just like Tesco Lotus. Same thing, you get to refund any unused value in the cards.

Seafood Phad Thai: 8.3/10

If not for the raw tasting cockles or oysters, this has got to be the best phad thai. Yummylicious indeed and fried very well. You get to add the peanuts and chilli flakes as much as you like. I heart phad thai! Haha.

Tom Yum Soup: 7.5/10

This wasn't as good as the one we had in the MBK Food Centre. Not a very lasting after taste although it was spicy enough.

Thai Iced Tea: 9/10

Yeap, my staple drink, it's like water to me in Bangkok =)

65baht for the phad thai
80baht for the tom yum soup
22baht for the thai iced tea
